Overview of the Verigene^® Processor SP (Verigene^®SP)

General description:

• The Verigene^® SP is a bench top, free-standing instrument with a single, independent sample processing module.

Core functions of each Verigene^® SP:

• Random access, multifunctional test processing, including nucleic acid extraction, reverse transcription (if necessary), target amplification (if necessary), and target identification and analysis in a Verigene® Test Cartridge. 

Functionality:

• Instrument design and single-use, test-specific consumables allow for uniform test work flow and true sample-in, results-out automation.
• System is modular so that workflow and throughput can be customized by each laboratory -- users can operate multiple Verigene^® SPs and Verigene^® Processors in parallel with a single Verigene^® Reader.
• Front panel LCD display provides continuous reporting of test processing status. 
• For conservation of bench space, Verigene^®SPs can be stacked atop one another.
